All The New Perks Now Included With Your J-FIT Membership

Here at the JCC, we want our members to get the most out of our facilities, while moving one step closer to achieving their fitness goals! This is why we are excited to share new opportunities that are now included with your membership.

 

 

1. J-FIT Runners Club

Starting May 4, join us weekly for an outdoor run with your J-FIT friends! The best part about this club is that it is both an active and social club, which provides structured group training in running.The past year has been stressful and unpredictable and we want to help our members get out of the “quarantine slump” they may be experiencing. Joining our running club is a perfect way to get motivated, get in shape, and have fun!

2. Family Swim Time 

Bring the whole family to Family Swim time at the J! This is a great opportunity for  children to practice swimming and have fun in the water with family. This opportunity is offered every Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday.

3. Yoga For Kids

Did you know that yoga helps children learn techniques for concentrating, reducing stress, and connecting to their bodies all while having fun? Our Yoga for Kiddos class is specifically designed for children by incorporating age-appropriate poses, breathing, movement, and mindfulness!

4. Newly Added Group Exercise Classes 

In addition to the robust schedule of classes continuing to be offered, by popular demand, we have now added a second Stretch class during the week - every Friday! Kick off the weekend in this relaxing class that is designed to focus on lengthening your body and reducing stress. 

 

Some benefits of taking Stretch class are:

→ Increased flexibility 

→ Increased muscle strength and tone 

→ Improved muscular balance 

→ Reduced risk of injury

5. Increased Maximum Number of Participants Per Class

Since reopening, our number one priority has been the well-being of our members. Throughout the pandemic, we have quickly adjusted our operating procedures by following CDC guidelines for mask-wearing, social distancing, capacity limits, and increased cleaning. As we slowly return to pre-covid operations, we have been able to increase the maximum number of participants for Group Exercise classes held in the gym. These classes will remain socially distant, while increasing capacity.

 

 

We are very excited about all the additional offerings our members can now experience at the JCC. We hope you’ll take advantage of the many wonderful programs included with your J-Family membership.
