Pozez JCC and The American Red Cross Blood Drives
In the months ahead, the Pozez JCC is hosting several blood drives to help our County replenish its critically low supply. Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. In fact, every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.
Please mark your calendar and register to give blood on the following dates and times:
Thursday, December 24, 9am-2:30pm
Thursday, December 31, 9am-2:30pm
Monday, March 8, 10am-4pm
The blood donation process from the time you arrive until the time you leave takes about an hour. The donation itself is only about 8-10 minutes on average.
