Presented by Bob Levey, retired Washington Post columnist
Come reminisce with Bob Levey as he joins us to talk about The Golden Era at the newspaper and discuss other tales from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s. His daily column, "Bob Levey’s Washington," appeared in The Post for more than 23 years. Bob, the first reporter hired by the legendary editor Ben Bradlee, was on a first-name-basis friendship with the famous Post publisher Katharine Graham, and sat between Woodward and Bernstein throughout the Watergate hearings. Bob has recently published his first novel, Larry Felder, Candidate, the story of a famous Washington journalist who gives up his career to run for Congress in the Washington suburbs. He will sell and sign copies after his talk.
