Reading Between the Lines: Amazing Stories from a Book Collector (Virtual)
Tuesday, February 15, 1pm-2pm on Zoom
Featuring Stuart Endick, Book Antiquarian
What do a murder scandal in France, the overthrowing of a king, the rise of Emperor Louis Napoleon, and a major motion picture starring Bette Davis and Charles Boyer in the golden age of Hollywood have in common? They, and other side stories, are all uncovered from an inscription in a Nineteenth Century volume about the Atlantic Telegraph! Learning what lies deep within the books he collects, Stuart Endick returns to share some amazing stories and unusual discoveries that are revealed when opening the covers and reading between the lines.
Speaker Bio: Retired attorney and avid book collector with three decades of experience collecting antiquarian books.
Fee: $5
