Celebrating Passover

Amy Lummer on Friday, March 19, 2021

Passover has always been a BIG DEAL in my house. My husband’s family loves to celebrate, and we always had a house full of people, Jewish, non-Jewish, all were welcome. As we hit the one-year mark of this pandemic, we are met again with the reality of a small Passover Seder and a low-key holiday celebration. We find ourselves trying to figure out how much dessert to make and buy (because, really, that is the best part!), and determining how much brisket is needed this year, but we are still grateful that we get to celebrate!

This year my in-laws will get to join us in person, and my husband will give his Dad the largest piece of horseradish and more will be right with our world. We celebrate the sweet with the bitter! Chag Pesach Sameach! Happy Passover!

I am enclosing my favorite Passover brownie recipe, adapted from Blue Diamond, with the hopes that you too can enjoy some sweetness.
