Textured Pour Painting: An art class held outside at the J
Wednesday, October 7, 2pm-4pm
(rain date: Thursday, Oct. 8, same time)
Instructor: Jason Lessans, local artist (Website https://jasonlessans.wordpress.com/ Instagram: @Lessans_in_abstraction)
In this two-hour workshop, students will learn a variety of fluid art techniques. Following a brief demonstration on various pour methods (dirty pour, swipe, and tree ring pour), students will practice the tree-ring technique on a small ceramic tile. Then they will choose a set of acrylic colors and create their own unique painting on canvas to take home.
Fee: $36 (includes all materials)
Advanced Registration is required by Oct. 2.
