The museum is now allowing groups to visit! Tour this wonderful museum with interesting permanent and rotating exhibits at your own pace. Consider eating lunch at the Sweet Home Café showcasing the rich culture and history of the African American people with traditional, authentic offerings as well as present-day food traditions.

On the house tour, you will see exquisite spaces in which Henry Francis du Pont entertained family and friends in grand style. The 175 rooms are furnished with his outstanding collection of American decorative arts. In the galleries, explore the collection of nearly 90,000 objects, including furniture, ceramics, glass, metals, textiles, and paintings and prints.
Fee: $80 (includes bus transportation, a tour of the mansion, narrated tram tour of the grounds — weather permitting, and self-guided tour of Costuming THE CROWN exhibition). Lunch at the museum’s cafe and dinner on the return home are on your own. There will be time to visit the gift shops if you so desire.
